What is Change Republic?

Change Republic (www.changerepublic.com) aims to be a world collaboration platform, enabling people to work with each other and solve local and global issues.

How it is done?

Through social projects, we call - Initiatives. Users of Change Republic start Initiatives. Initiatives may be as small as a cleanliness drive in your society or as massive as a flood relief program. After an initiative is posted, other users join it - discuss ideas to make it a success - streamline their efforts - and finally hit the ground - more prepared to make the change happen!

If you start an initiative, you are its Owner. Owner describes the initiative, and shares relevant images, videos and documents. Owner shares updates and send reminders to other participants. You can even directly promote/share your initiatives on other social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). And, there is more! You can follow other users and get notifications when they start new initiatives. You also get initiative notifications based on your interests and location.
